00:00:06 Speaker: Welcome friends in this awakening world. Thank you for being here. Thank you for watching this video or listening to me on the on the podcast today, I want to talk about the solar plexus chakra and, uh, what that chakra stands for when the path is towards self -realization, towards liberation towards coming to know what you essentially are. And I invite you to listen very carefully and just also to check in with yourself where, where you are at on this discovery and this inner discovery and what, what is it that you can maybe in your own investigation, in your own meditation, in your own inner discovery, find for yourself. And always remember also that I have a course that guides you, that helps you, that provides practices and meditations for you to both explore, but also to confirm for yourself, to discover for yourself. That's what this is essentially about. And when we talk about self-realization, it is obviously, you know that you are already that and that at any moment you can recognize what you already are. Now, obviously, also many people don't because there is an often an inner process needed of sort of untying or just to establish more clarity. How does clarity come about? And it starts by you actually, um, starting to remember yourself as awareness. This isn't clear for a lot of people. And for some people, this is clear because they come from meditation. They have had a form of meditation practice where they are already were witnessing, starting to witness, starting to actually abide as awareness and witness. Witness their emotions, witness their thoughts, witness, witness. But this witnessing also needs to, um, come from awareness and has to be directed towards all appearances to actually remember yourself as awareness. What do I mean by that? Oftentimes when people witness it is more about looking, observing their own mental contents. What many people actually do all day. It is like thinking about, you know, what goes on in your mind and trying to solve your life's problems in the mind. You're then witnessing oftentimes is also still very, uh, strongly related to that identification with this body mind. People observe or witness, for example, um, um, bodily sensations, but with that identity still in place. But what you actually want to do is observe all appearances as no longer you. So in the beginning, the beginning is that you actually become aware of awareness. Most important start of your discovery is this opening to yourself beyond your mind. Beyond your identity. This is how, how this discovery and this liberation path actually starts. It's starting to understand, starting to see from awareness rather than from inside the mind. And you then you are starting to observe reality. You are actually then discovering reality, but you're also starting to observe from reality. You're starting to observe what is the body, for example, from awareness perceptions arising within awareness. You are starting to observe emotions, but no longer as these stories that grasp you and that are identified with, but as sensations of the body. This is how you start disidentifying, detaching, for example, from feeling states, emotions. If that's very, you know, you don't really know how to get out of it. You're actually observing the sensations in the body but no longer identify with them. So the first chakra is about you remembering yourself as awareness, as the divine, as consciousness. Starting to observe reality. First chakra. Starting to observe physical reality and the body from awareness. Second chakra. Sensations. Feeling. States. Emotions. Reactivity. A lot of what the personal construct actually revolves around is starting to be disidentified from, observed. It also always means obviously it is a path of unhooking. It's a path of liberation. Liberating yourself from the belief to be found inside this body mind. To be subject to. To be subject to death to be born. All these kind of things you are actually, you know, you are liberating yourself. But also to know each one of these identifications when it is when it is seen from awareness. Apart from being on this discovery of what you are, what you are not, it is also always helping you. You are finding the spacious emptiness, the neutrality, the impartial seeing as capable actually to witness emotions, to bear feeling states and you are no longer in it. It is a tremendous gift because you are no longer in that. In those stories, it means that those feeling states no longer cause or are detrimental or, you know, are so defining for your well-being. So we also have to see, okay, there is this unhooking process. There's a process and an and a confirmation and a realization happening, maturing, um, of what you are. But it's also each one of them, you know, each, each helps you tremendously, actually, at that moment of time in your life, knowing from your true essence, your good nature life can happen as it is. You gain a different perspective on life knowing it comes from you, but you are also gaining a different way of how to actually be with and how to change. You know where change actually occurs from. Funnily, paradoxically, if there is no longer change needed. So it isn't any more about this figuring out in the mind, you know, it is about residing, abiding, remembering, staying as the self, allowing then those patterns to simply be there as they are. And you're looking, you're just, you're just remaining, you're remaining watchful. And interestingly, then these patterns can dissolve on their own. It is literally that you're accessing your divinity. The divine that you are can then change those patterns by itself, no longer because you're trying, but because you're actually holding everything to be exactly as it is. But you're not moving. You're unmoving in the face of things. Now, the third chakra obviously is about the ego. The ego for someone on the path of self-realization is very different to the ego that we usually address in our daily life. If I say to someone, you are very egoic, I usually mean they're very selfish. Or if I say someone has a big ego, I actually mean, I don't know, They are arrogant or they're very full of themselves or all these things. Now, egoic construct on the path of self realization is something else. It pertains to all this whole identity that you have falsely taken up. All the thoughts, the emotions, the stories of your life that have you identified with this mind body and with a certain, with certain filters, certain ideas of self. And they are all unreal unreal in the sense that they only pertain to the mind. If the mind doesn't congest them up all the time, they don't actually exist. You don't actually find that ego. You don't find that self. You don't find that separate entity. It is based on thought. So the third chakra is about this this deepening understanding. Actually, you know, the deepening understanding what is the ego and what are all these different, different, um, different beliefs and assumptions of self that you have identified with. Now, as I said in the beginning, um, you also have to check in with yourself, meaning in the beginning you become aware this is being, this is awareness, this is consciousness and how to actually abide as that. And then it is about creating this discrimination between what you are essentially awareness and what is only an appearance. There has to this clarity has to be established through discrimination. This is only an appearance, and I am eternally the one that is aware of them. Now, for all of you that have been witnessing, that have been discriminating that are on a sincere path of self-realization, of wanting to find out what you are wanting to free yourself of suffering, wanting to know deeper what you are. You know that when you start. You know in the beginning when you start witnessing, there's a lot coming. Obviously, thoughts are always generated, but what becomes more interesting when you start witnessing is that often times deeper mind structures are accessed. This also just starts by simply by you actually staying as the self and observing. Automatically you move into deeper structures of the mind, and the mind comes up with more and more and more interesting kind of nuggets to actually catch you and to identify you again, can be, for example, spiritual phenomena or can be you have tremendous insights suddenly in meditation that you feel now you have to follow those insights. This is how the mind tries to actually keep itself alive. You also have to stay vigilant, and you have to not identify with whatever the mind then comes up with hopes to, you know, give you as a little nugget. So this also is about this chakra is about deeper witnessing, really deeper witnessing. And what is also so relevant for a lot of people is that they are very, very able to witness sort of their own mind structure. But then on top of that mind structure, on top of perceptions, there is also evaluation. You know how this perception then pertains to this subjective person. You also need to witness that. That's why the first chakra in my course starts actually with you starting to observe what is the body, you know, because it is that you also have to observe this whole egoic construct. Anything and everything that is perceivable pertains to the ego. You as the seeing are not perceivable, but yet you can realize yourself as that you are no longer perceivable as the seeing because you're not an object. Consciousness is no longer an object, no longer objectifiable. So you cannot objectify consciousness. You cannot objectify the divine. You cannot objectify awareness. You're trying very hard to to to define something. If we want to find when we want to step deeper into self knowledge, into self wisdom, what happens now in this third chakra is this deeper witnessing. It's really coming to know on a deeper level, starting to discriminate yourself further. Now two things happen also pertaining to this chakra. The first one is that automatically, as your discrimination increases between what you are and what you are not experientially, you're starting to see appearances. These appearances become as you continue witnessing, they become more and more homogeneous. It means they are more and more sort of the same, and you are less and less drawn into it. What in the beginning is a true effort and a true first contact with the power of the mind, namely, to draw you into mind streams becomes lessened and the mind starts to give you those nuggets usually. Then you are staying out of that also. You will see appearances become more and more homogeneous and they become more and more homogeneous also means you are less and less interested actually in even looking at the contents of the mind. What starts to happen then more and more, is that you are starting to become interested in that seeing, in awareness. You're starting to want to know what is that that is aware. And then one of the first things here, or fast findings that has to come experientially is the space of I am. It is what so many people talk about. You know, when they talk about the seer or the seeing or awareness is the space of I am. What does that mean? It means that what you are finding can no longer be defined and holds no longer attributes, because it's not an object. So you have to find out what are you then as awareness. And the only thing that you can state about yourself as awareness is that you are that you exist. It's the only thing. It is you meeting yourself as existence, as pure presence, as pure awareness, as universal consciousness. From that space, what you can say about yourself is I am meaning I exist, I being, you know, you're just being. But this also has to be experientially confirmed, you know, by you actually discovering this, discovering your attributeless self. And that's also part of this discovery. Now what also starts to happen, this is why this this chakra is also so potent for so many people. You know, as you start, for all of you that are discriminating, that are, uh, you know, witnessing that are really interested in this discovery that are along this path, know themselves as awareness, but need that clarity between appearances and themselves. One other thing is starting to happen, namely, fear starts to arise because you're starting to there is the mind starts to become informed by what is actually happening. What is actually happening is that you're starting to understand, wow, I've not found, I'm not found in the perceptions of the body. I'm not found in that body. I'm not found in that mind. I'm not actually found in those emotions, in those feeling states. This is starting to dawn on you. This is starting. You know, you're starting to. This is this is this liberating process. You're starting to understand, wow. I'm none of these things in actuality. You know, this is for the mind. It's very difficult to first you know, come into contact. But then also to, you know, you're starting to understand what does that actually imply? What does that then actually mean for me? It means I'm none of these things. And that's very difficult because then fear taps in because you're starting to understand, okay, something's got to give. The mind's got to give at some point. It is this handing over. It is this collapse, the collapse again of the false, fundamentally false belief that you are this body mind, which you already aren't. But will you be able to actually, you know, accept it? That's when many people. That's why this third chakra is so important. It's why many people then stop. They stop their witnessing. They. There. There is something. The mind comes up with an excuse. They don't want to go further. They have fears of losing this egoic centered vision. They have fears of actually, you know, handing themselves over. They have fears of of ego death. It is also part and parcel of this discovery and of, of even, you know, even if you're not on this chakra discovery, but if you are on this self-realization discovery then it is part and parcel. There is something that resists that is the mind, you know. Now again, you are already consciousness, you are already awareness. And I have to tell you, this discovery is also usually the mind isn't the one that wants this discovery taken to be to till its end. You know, that wants to wake up in its final annihilation of, you know, truly knowing you're not found here, but you already are that and there's nothing. There's nothing to fear. You know, fear also pertains to the mind. And all these fear based structures actually also pertain to the mind and pertain to this upholding. This is such a, you know, effortful endeavor to continuously uphold this false sense of self. But this is also part and parcel of it. And then you're also starting to understand that who is living this life? Who is breathing this body? What is what, what, what, what that vaster intelligence that you essentially are and what, what is then the connection between, you know, free will, non doership. All these kind of questions are also are also part and parcel of of the third chakra discovery of coming to know what you are and what you are not and also coming to know really I am. And this, this this starting to see also this emptiness, this fundamentally attributeless self, this formlessness, this, this, your essential nature as pure awareness is formless. You're starting to recognize this and how this then, you know, catalyzes awakening, but also what kind of obstacles come from the mind. And the mind starts to understand that it isn't. It isn't actually this body mind. You know, when that starts to dawn on you, when it's no longer just just a conceptual mental understanding, but becomes through discrimination and through your growing clarity, and also through the growing clarity between what you are and the fullness. I say of this egoic construct, like it's, it's whole complexity, all sensations, all emotions, all perceptions, all beliefs, everything. When you're starting to, when the, the distance that is so effortful in the beginning, but more and more starts to be seen as naturally actually present. When, when, when, when this clarity starts to become more, more prone. And, and then also obviously your, your, your whole sense of self, you know, starts to change. And also then the understanding, because the third chakra is, you know, second chakra is you and others. And third is you in the, in the greater whole and the greater society. You're starting to understand what others are and how, what this collective collective consciousness is, is about. That's why the third chakra traditionally is also the fire. You know, it's all it was also this path out from the solidity, you know, to more fluid version. And then fire already starts to become more and more formless, more and more formless, but it's also burning to the ground, you know, burning to the ground, those self assumptions burning to the ground, the egoic structure as what you are. Kindly understand, you know, there's nothing bad about emotions, self beliefs, self concepts, um, sensations. You have the physical expression, this life, this nothing. Often times people get this weird idea that it is about negating, negating life, or negating the body, or negating everything as invalid. That's not what this is meant to be. What is meant to be is to know and to gain clarity and to realize ultimately, that you are not found in what is perceivable because you're not an object. You are not found in what is perceivable. This is a different clarity. It is that these self assumption can also then be seen as a thought, but not as what you essentially are not as defining and not as you know as anything else other than also a thought costume, something that is worn, but something that isn't essentially you, isn't fundamentally you. So the third chakra helps you to witness more deeply, come to deeper mind structures, start to actually, for the first time, turn around towards that seeing, start to understand, you know, what is that most fundamental sense of I? What kind of description still hold valid? Also start to see this spaciousness, this emptiness, this nothingness that you are experientially finding, this through the witnessing and through the turning towards yourself. Starting to understand how how this all works free will, non doership, not from again, this egoic, egoicly centred vision, but from true vision, true knowing, jnanam, wisdom, wisdom of the self, wisdom of your self wisdom, experiential discovery, wisdom. This is the wisdom you need to realize what you are. So I hope that this this now for sure was a lot. And as always, I hope that there's a lot more clarity for you that you can also confirm to yourself sort of a little bit where you are at, knowing again, you have my course and you can, you can, you know, you can participate, you can sign up, you can do these meditations and practices distinctly. They will guide you and lead you along this path. And also just to let whatever you have heard now also find its roots land somewhere, not just intellectually, but also just see what what comes up for you then from the clarity of the one self that is already here. Namaste.
