How to deal with spiritual attacks from the wisdom of your true Self?
00:00:06 Speaker: So welcome, friends in this awakening world. The question that many people have is about being spiritually attacked. And, um, I want to start actually with a quote from the Bible. It's a quote from Luke six thirty two, and it says, if you love those who love you, What credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High. Because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your father is merciful. So. This is obviously a beautiful quote from Jesus, from the Bible. And, um, it's exactly like this. You see, there are, as you are awakening to your most essential self, everything, you have to start understanding that everything that appears, that is perceivable isn't essentially you. You are always the awareness that is aware of. In this range of what you are aware of starts from this what we all see. You know this perceivable world people, places, situations, uh, circumstances, environment. And it goes to more and more subtle appearances. So energetic appearances, spiritual phenomena, spiritual attacks on some level, all of it. From the level of your true self all of it is imagined. Still. Obviously, it holds relative reality, right? And if someone attacks you spiritually and is very powerful in that it's actually as if they attack you within this physical world, you know. and sometimes whole groups will attack you and will, will, um, might do stuff, you know. And so even if you are realized this form, this, this astral form, this bodily form, but even the spiritual form, your heart, etc. can still be found. It's not that it isn't found, it's just that your relationship to what appears changes through your understanding, through your clarity, through your wisdom, and thereby you are able to bear it all, see it all, be aware of it all, and also come from that love that is no longer personal. And that's the way how you actually end those wars. Because on some level, what we are talking about here, what's your awakening journey hopefully helps you actually be in this world is someone who doesn't attack neither spiritually nor obviously in the physical, and is someone who is like he says, merciful, does not retaliate, does not attack back, does not, you know, harm others intentionally. And there's so much misunderstanding in so many, you know, like really, um, negative and unhelpful beliefs about what it means to be self-realized and what it means to be, uh, knowing that you're not the body, you know, and. It, it is just that you, you are looking from a different place, from this place of awareness that you are even people that attack you will be seen. Even the attack will be seen. You know, and still you could do obviously a lot of things on that level, but it is always actually about this complete opening. Opening to what is and not retaliating. In that way, your enemy is your teacher also. You know. And in that way, even if people attack you, whether that's in in the physical, you know, in, in, in your everyday life, or whether that is on the spiritual level, it is always you that needs to take the hands off. And this shows actually much more than any defense, any counterattack, any revenge, any retaliation. because what is played out on this dualistic level, like in your normal life, but also within the spiritual, you know, as spiritual attacks is always represents mind, represents thoughts, represents what people, you know, project outwards then is actually the same. You come to a level where this is almost the same, you know, whether that's in the physical happening, in the spiritual happening. But you are never touched by this as awareness, obviously an intensity and also a pain. The pain can also be felt like a physical pain that you have. It is felt like a spiritual attack. Pain is felt and yet you are able to witness this, not take it on, not make it yours. Not have the stories around it. Not, you know, hold revenge or bitterness in your heart towards someone who attacks you from that level. On the next day, you would be exactly as you always are to this person, even if they attacked you the day before, because it doesn't land anymore in the same way, it doesn't hold the identifications around it anymore. It doesn't mean that you will. You know, you have to counter attack. That's why this is the path of peace. First you are finding this peace that is your inherent nature. That is just. It's just a peace that's noncausal a contentment that starts to shine and just starts to emanate as you remember what you are. But then it's also the peace in action, the peace that that what comes from the self is, is, is the dropping of this dualistic vision. The dropping of the sense of self that's tied to a physical form. An astral form and it teaches people much more actually, if nothing is done. You know, if there's actually someone who doesn't retaliate. Counterattack. And it teaches you. The enemy teaches you. Teaches you patience. It teaches you mercy. It teaches you forgiveness. It teaches you this radical opening to appearances, which is so often, you know, so often said that non-duality is about the bypassing. There's no bypassing. You still see. You see what happens. You see the pain, but you don't no longer just see your pain. Also see others pains, pain in the mind, the pain of people that think that attack is what is necessary. And so be the one that doesn't harm. Not on a thought level, not on a spiritual level. Not on a physical level. Be the one that drops the weapons. Be the one that knows that the other is also you. It's part of your being. It's also part of your greater self. Be the one that knows that people are often misguided. Doesn't mean to discard them. See them beyond their current level of consciousness. Now also means you don't have to endure horrible situations in your life. You can also always remove yourself from them. It just means to stop the fighting, to stop the retaliation. To stop the whole mechanism of aggression that is just in the mind. This is what is happening through your deepening understanding, through you being awareness coming from that. Be the love that you intrinsically are. Namaste.
