Being the Earth: Mūlādhāra ( Root Chakra) Mastery- realize your essential nature beyond the 'body'
The Sanskrit name of the root chakra is “Mūlādhāra” - "Mūla" meaning "source" and "ādhāra" translating to "foundation" or "support." This chakra can help you understand that, as you express yourself in each moment, you serve as a vehicle through which the larger 'You' (consciousness) acts and are completely supported precisely as you are.
Your body and all of physical reality are the dream and projection inside of your larger Self (consciousness). What you perceive as matter through your senses is a crystallized mental image inside awareness. Whatever is perceivable is subject to origination and cessation, and is not you. This dreamlike quality of physical reality also implies that material manifestations are not only subject to change but also capable of changing instantly.
You are not defined by what you perceive, and what you perceive should never become who you take yourself to be. All appearances are merely reflections onto itself and can be seen as such.
For example, your bodily form (its "image") is not separate from your environment or other people. It always reveals your underlying self-assumptions and the thought forms of the unified totality. The look and feel of your body can serve as one of the greatest contemplations for your current self-concepts or the ideas arising in the collective mindstream. Becoming aware of your thoughts and reframing challenging situations or experiences is an important skill you can develop through the continuous exchange with physical reality.
Ultimately, you will realize that all that appears to be happening inside of 'you' (thoughts, emotions, sensations) emanates from that vaster Self, but doesn't touch or define you as awareness. In fact, the body, with its sensations and feelings, is also your greatest projection, keeping the illusion of you being a person (or separate body-mind) in place.
As you come to know yourself as already unified, the experiential revelation about you being one with the Earth, with animals, plants, and all custodians of Earth, can be consciously perceived.
